What a fun treat for our families at Grafton Station Friday after school. Our staff went over to share popsicles and books with our students.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped bring The Rainbow Fish musical to life. We are excited to welcome the Class of 2039 to Dare Elementary School! Join us as we kick off Kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year. Any child who is five years old on or before September 30, 2026 may attend kindergarten next year.

Our Kindergarten and First Grade students are excited to shine at their Spring Concert & Writing Showcase on April 15!
Students should report to the music room at 4:45 PM, with the concert beginning promptly at 5:00 PM in the cafetorium. Following the concert, families are invited to visit classrooms for our Writing Showcase from 5:30–6:30 PM, where students will proudly share their hard work.

Join us for a night of sharing the joy of reading at Bailey Field at YHS from 5-7pm. Food trucks and various Community Partners will be there to support the York Zone Falcons.

Our wonderful Special Education Team hosted a family engagement breakfast to share activities and showcase what our students have been learning this year! The parents enjoyed interacting with their child and watching what they do on a day to day basis.

The School Board has approved adjusting Tuesday, April 21, to a student holiday/staff workday due to the special election.
