One of our favorite features at Dare is our beautiful Virginia native plant garden! Bursting with colorful blooms and natural beauty, the garden provides a welcoming habitat for local wildlife throughout the year.
Students and visitors alike enjoy watching the Eastern Bluebirds that make their home in our bluebird house, as well as the bright and cheerful American Goldfinches that flock to our flowers. Our garden is a wonderful outdoor classroom where nature comes to life, inspiring curiosity, discovery, and appreciation for Virginia’s native plants and wildlife.
