Fundraising and Resource Support
- Raise extra funds: Organize events like book fairs, bake sales, and fundraisers to pay for items outside the official school budget.
- Buy supplies: They purchase extra items needed for teachers and students.
- Fund special programs: Money raised pays $10 per student for field trips for all grade levels.
Community Building
- Host social events: PTAs plan family fun nights, school dances, trunk or treat night and more!
- Appreciate teachers: They coordinate staff breakfast days, teacher gifts, and morale-boosting events during Teacher Appreciation Week.
- Encourage involvement: The group gives families a structured way to volunteer in classrooms, the library, cut and paste, and our Spring and Fall Book Fairs.
